PROFILE

"Eddie Barrett is  Chairman of North*s Real Estate Alliance , which is Ireland’s longest established Estate Agents (1829) with a sister branch in Dublin. He opened the Tralee Branch of North*s REA in 1973 . He was also a founding member of the Real Estate Alliance group in 2001.

Eddie is a Fellow of both the IAVI and FIABCI Institutes . He is a Past President of the IAVI ( Irish Auctioneers & Valuers Institute ) (2000 / 2001).

He is currently President of the Irish Chapter of FIABCI ( The International Real Estate Federation ), He currently serves on the elected World Board of FIABCI . He is also a Board Member of GHF (Global Housing Foundation) a World Trust, working in partnership with U.N. Habitat , providing low cost , fixed mortgages , for the working poor of the World. Eddie’s experience in the field of property is extensive, as he has over 40 years, gained invaluable experience in all aspects of property, both in residential and commercial, valuations . Ranging from general opinions of value to those concerned with tax, inheritance, leasehold interests, commercial ,shopping centres, farms, development lands etc. He has also extensive experience in project development from pre-planning to post-planning / post -development / to sale."
