Michael Boyd is the proprietor of Boyd’s Real Estate Alliance, a general practice property agency and consultancy established in Kilkenny in 1991.

Michael’s training and background in property services developed through periods with specialist firms in residential, commercial and retail property and in fine arts and antiques before opening his firm in Kilkenny City.

Michael’s focuses in the challenging economic climate of today are about giving clients advice about property that informs them of their position and options transparently, thoroughly and authoritatively so that they can navigate the best way through the times we are in. These include;

EU compliant valuation reports for private clients and commercial institutions in light of the current banking crisis
Listed buildings consultancy with an emphasis on cost of use and occupation
Investment property services in Ireland and Germany.

His practice continues to offer the full range of traditional auctioneering services.

As an estate agent his traditional work extends to property valuations, sales, lettings and acquisitions mainly within an hour of Kilkenny. Less traditional but more relevant to today Michael offers property investment services in Ireland and Germany to those who would prefer to place their investments with trusted advisors who believe in the values of expertise and transparency. He is a panel Valuer for most financial institutions and some Government Bodies.  He also had considerable experience as expert witness in high court cases, arbitrations, and dispute resolution.
