Headfort Estate is renowned as one of the finest estates in Ireland. Steeped in history the Main Courtyard and the original gardens were built by the first Earl of Bective in 1770, the gardens were expanded at the beginning of the century by Lord Headfort. There`s also a great choice of schools in the area and of course the Internationally renowned Headfort Preparatory School is located in the grounds. Headfort Golf Club with two stunning 18 hole parkland championship courses are adjacent to Headfort Demesne. For fishing enthusiasts, Headfort is located on a particularly picturesque stretch of the river well known for course fishing. There are numerous sports clubs in the area offering GAA, Rugby, Tennis, Soccer and more. The neighbouring town of Navan is just 17km away, and with easy access to the M3 only minutes away.



Directions
From Dublin take the N3 to Kells, exit No 10. From Kells take the Headfort Road along the golf course for approx 1.5km. Turn left immediately after Headfort Bridge and go through the entrance gates to Headfort Demesne. Continue up the avenue, you will see gates into the lands. They will then be on the left / right hand side.
