Navan has a large shopping centre. The pretty village of Moynalty is within 5km (past winner of TidyTowns award). Sheridans depot is 5 minutes' drive away and has a country market every Saturday.
County Meath has a proud sporting history and can offer a huge array of quality sporting and recreational activities for even the most active of lifestyles. The Headfort Golf Club just outside Kells is an outstanding 36 hole parkland complex dominated by magnificent specimen trees and river scenery and is ten minutes'drive away. Both courses take full advantage of the natural beauty of one of Ireland's oldest estates. Virginia (14km) is home to the Park Hotel, recently purchased by renowned chef Richard Corrigan and offering excellent hospitality in an old world lakeside setting.
Hunting locally is with the Meath Hounds, which meets regularly in Carnaross. The Tara and the Ballymacad packs are also nearby. There are ample primary and play schools in the locality. Secondary education is available in Kells and Navan. Eureka girls school is moving to a new location very soon. The new school is currently under construction and will be 5 minutes' drive. Private primary and Montessori schooling is available in nearby Headfort School which can accommodate day pupils and boarders in the Prep school.

Directions
From Kells travel out the N3 to Carnaross village. Turn right at the crossroads in the village, continue straight for c.2km, the property is located on the right hand side. See sign.
From Dublin: Take the M3 Northbound. Drive approx. 55km and take exit 10 (signed N52 / Kells). At the 1st roundabout take the 3rd exit, at the 2nd roundabout take the 1st exit onto the N52. Drive for approx. 1.7km and at the roundabout take the 1st exit R147. Continue for 4.7km into Carnaross Village. At the crossroads in the centre of village take right hand turn. Drive for 2.4km exactly. Tree Tops is on the RHS.
