The Metropolitan County

County Dublin is situated on the east coast of Ireland around Dublin bay. Although it is Ireland's third smallest county, Dublin City is Ireland's capital and the county hosts nearly a third of the country's population.

Dublin city itself is bursting with diversity and has attracted multinational companies like Facebook and Google. The infamous Temple Bar is vibrant and buzzing with pubs and tourists. St Stephen's Green at the top of Grafton Street is a beautiful park and there are many Georgian houses lining the streets near it. You'll also find Trinity College, one of the oldest colleges where the beautiful Book of Kells is on display. It's no surprise that this welcoming city has been voted Europe's friendliest twice by TripAdvisor!

The county also boasts a number of great coastal towns like Skerries, Howth and Dalkey as well as the port of Dun Laoghaire. There are many other interesting suburbs dotted around the city including Lucan, Skerries, Tallaght and Clontarf each with its own character and charm.
